It was composed of .999 fine silver, weighed 155.5 grams, and measured 65 millimeters in diameter. Depicted on the obverse was the Vaduz Castle with a legend reading "FRANZ · JOSEF · II · VON · LIECHTENSTEIN" inscribed above, and the year flanked by two branches below. Displayed on the reverse was the coat of arms of Liechtenstein, with the state title (FÜRSTENTUM LIECHTENSTEIN) inscribed above, and the value (inscribed as "VEREINS–10–TALER") below. Only 2500 of these coins were minted.
