The note has a width of 145 millimeters by 68 millimeters in height. Its obverse, which is blue, red and orange, features s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a turtle and a green-throated carib; there are also raised braille features, which, hence the shape, represent the Cricket theme (in the form of balls and stumps). The reverse, which is multicolored, displays Admiralty Bay, located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, The Warspite, located in Anguilla and a brown pelican.
For security, the banknote includes a watermark featuring another portrait of the Queen and the letters "ECCB", a silver metallic ink square featuring a butterfly and the script "ECCB $10", a black security thread, an intaglio over foil reading "ECCB" and, on the back, an iridescent print of various fish, located over the map of OECS member states.
