The Bolognese lira was a currency used by the Cispadane Republic during its reign from 1796 to 1797 under Napoleon Bonaparte. It was subdivided into 20 soldi, which itself was divided into 12 denari; or 20 bolognini, divided into seven quattrini.[2] Some coins, such as the 10 soldi coin were known by a common name.
