A. Hutter was a Swiss engraver and coin designer who worked for Swissmint. This individual was responsible for the designs used on the reverses of the Swiss 1 and 2 rappen coins issued from 1850 to 1946. The obverses of such coins were designed by Jacques-Jean Barre of the Monnaie de Paris in France.
